We welcome all new patients from the local Sunshine Coast and nearby areas as well as visitors from other locations.

Dr Roos is a fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She was born in South Africa and obtained her medical degree there in 2004.

Dr Sarah Kirkham

Sarah qualified in 1995 from UCL medical school in London. After qualifying, she spent some time in North Queensland working in hospital and rural medicine. After returning to the UK she worked as a GP for 13 years before deciding to make the permanent move to Australia. Sarah and her family moved to the Sunshine coast in 2014 and loves the climate, opportunities and people here.
Dr Benjamin Schussler
General Practitioner
Born in New York City, Dr Benjamin Schussler worked as a police officer with the NYPD for three years before deciding on a career change to medicine. He completed an undergraduate degree and medical school at Stanford University and the University of Sydney, respectively.
After becoming a GP, Dr Ben spent many years in Far North Queensland working among First Nations People. His initial years as a doctor were spent within the public hospital system, working in medical, surgical, and emergency departments.
Dr Bushra Abbasi
General Practitioner
Bushra has attained her fellowship in the RACGP and enjoys living on the Sunshine Coast and being part of the vibrant team at Suncoast Health Centre. She has worked in rural hospitals within Queensland and the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital and has a special interest in; Mental Health, Antenatal care, Children’s Health. Women’s Heath, Chronic disease management. Minor procedures, Preventative medicine.

This practice subscribes to National Home Doctor Service to provide after-hours consultations. Please phone National Home Doctor Service on 13 7425 (13 SICK). This service is bulk-billed for Medicare and DVA cardholders.

Appointments can be made online through website https://suncoasthealth.com.au/ or call 0752348033.When you book online, you can select a specific consultation type (e.g a flu vaccine or complex issue etc ), a normal consultation or a longer consultation. We recommend a longer consultation if you have several issues or a complex problem. While longer appointments are billed at a higher rate, the ‘gap’ you pay remains about the same.

Drivers license Medical-Private and Commercial require special Bookings with the doctor and nurse.Please ensure that there is appropriate online booking(if booking over the phone,please tell the reception about the type of medical exam required).Please bring any form required with relevant portion filled beforehand.You will also need to bring a form of identication such as drivers license or glasses if you wears them for driving
The practice performs minor procedures. Procedure need longer duration and appointments may be deferred to another time based on the doctor’s assessment. Your doctor will advise if this is necessary, and will advise of any fees that may be incurred

There is a $50 fee for no shows or cancelling appointment less than 2 hours before the appointment time.
