Dr Thushara Dissanayake is a General Surgeon with a special interest in laparoscopic, breast and endocrine surgery, melanoma, and complex abdominal wall hernias. He consults on a fortnightly basis at Suncoast Health Centre and operates at Nambour Selangor Private Hospital and the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.
Dr Dissanayake is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, (FRACS) in General Surgery. He is a Consultant General Surgeon at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) and Gympie Hospital. Dr Dissanayake is a Senior Lecturer in Surgery at the Griffith University.
