Dr Emile Brits has been caring for patients for nearly 30 years. After graduating from the University of the Free State, South Africa, in 1996, he relocated to Australia with his family in 2000. He spent several years working across a range of hospital specialties in rural Australia before discovering his passion for General Practice.
Dr Brits became a Fellow of both the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) in 2005. Since 2009, he has proudly served the Sunshine Coast community, providing comprehensive, patient-centred medical care.
Dr Brits enjoys all aspects of General Practice and is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare for patients of all ages. He believes that taking the time to listen, understand each patient’s concerns, and work collaboratively leads to the best possible health outcomes.
